The third tablet announced by Lenovo the other days is made for home users mainly but comes with Windows 7 as operating system. And that`s not all. This combines a multi-touch screen with a stylus pen for maximum flexibility. So it`s some combination between the Android IdeaPad and ThinkPad.
Given the fact that P1 will ship with Microsoft Windows the hardware needs to be stronger - a 1.5 GHz processor from Intel, 16/32 GB internal storage (can be extended through the micro-SD card slot) and no official details regarding the RAM memory but should be around 2GB. The 10.1 inches screen will include a front web camera for chat and will display full flash support. In terms of connectivity there is Wi-Fi and USB. For software the IdeaPad P1 will have Microsoft Office for documents editing, Microsoft Security Essentials for protection and Lenovo App Manager to switch easy between business and personal profiles (plus other applications from Lenovo Shop).
The are no other details for IdeaPad P1 at this moment except the fact that will be available in Q4 this year.
