Motorola Defy+

   I know that the big news from Yesterday that Google has bought the Motorola Mobility is the news of the year and has decided the bright future of Android I believe. However Motorola has announced the same day their new upgraded version of Defy. The processor is faster and from a newest generation but also the device itself is stronger and more resistant to water, dust and scratch through the IP67 certification. Main specification are:

-- DISPLAY: 3.7-inch capacitive touch 854 x 480 pixels screen
-- CPU:  TI OMAP 1 GHz processor.
-- MEMORY:  512 MB RAM.
-- STORAGE:  2 GB for internal, microSD card slot up to 32GB.
-- CAMERA:  5 MP camera, auto-focus flash, video recording up to 720p.
-- CONNECTIVITY:  3G/4G, HSDPA, HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, micro-USB, 3.5 mm headphone jack, A-GPS.
-- SENSORS:  Accelerometer, Proximity, Digital Compass.
-- BATTERY:  Li-Po 1700 mAh
-- MULTIMEDIA:  touch sensitive buttons.
-- OS:  Android 2.3 Gingerbread, Adobe Flash, MOTOBLUR UI.
-- APPLICATIONS:  Google Apps, social networking, Motorola Media Link, CardioTrainer, Zinio.

   The new Defy+ comes with some pre-installed applications like CardioTrainer for running monitoring and Zinio for reading e-magazines. The Motorola Media Link allows you to share and stream live music or videos with home devices. The price is expected to be around 270 EUR - which is a great one - and should be in stores starting with September.
