The first and most important smartphone announced by Nokia with Windows Phone Mango is the Lumia 800. This has a design just like the N9 but does not have the MeeGo operating system of course. However this is looking very nice, stylish and elegant.
Most important technical specification are:
-- DISPLAY: 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive multi-touch 480 x 800 pixels, gorilla glass, ClearBlack curved screen.
-- CPU: Qualcomm Snapdragon Scorpion 1.4 GHz dual-core processor.
-- GPU: Adreno 205
-- MEMORY: 512 GB RAM.
-- STORAGE: 16 GB for internal.
-- CAMERA: Primary - 8MP auto-focus dual-led flash camera, video recording up to 720p.
-- CONNECTIVITY: 3G, HSDPA, HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP, micro-USB port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, A-GPS.
-- SENSORS: Proximity, Accelerometer, Magnetometer, Digital Compass.
-- BATTERY: Li-Po 1450 mAh
-- MULTIMEDIA: touch sensitive buttons.
-- OS: Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.
-- APPLICATIONS: Nokia Maps, social networking, Internet Explorer 9, Bing.
Lumia 800 has a unibody case, micro-sim (just like the N9) but no micro-SD card (the same as the Lumia 710). I do not understand why Nokia did not consider important to offer card storage option. Still the SkyDrive from Microsoft offers 25 GB of free online storage. Also we should not forget the Nokia Maps which is the best free GPS navigation I have seen so far. Nokia has a big plus on that one. Lumia 800 will be in stores starting with this month at a price around 420 EUR.
